Privacy Policy

Scope
This privacy policy informs users, in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act, about the type and use of data transmitted when using this website.
Note: When transferring data over the Internet, security gaps may occur. Complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.

Access Data
Not the website operator, but the website provider collects data as part of data retention regarding access to the site and stores it as “server log files.” The following data is logged:

• Pages visited
• Time of visit
• Amount of data sent in bytes
• Source/referrer that led to the page (e.g., a search engine results page)
• Browser used
• Operating system used
• IP address used (fully anonymized)
• Hostname

The collected data is stored by the provider in a text file but can be visualized in the form of charts or tables using the Webalizer program. They serve statistical evaluations to improve and protect the website from hacker attacks.
IP addresses are fully anonymized in the form 0.0.0.0, making it impossible to draw conclusions about individuals. Log files are automatically deleted after 30 days.
These programs are installed by default on the hosting package we rent—even if we do not use them. Unlike external analytics programs, no data is transferred to third-party servers.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Your browser accesses these files. This website uses a technically necessary session cookie, which is not stored permanently and is automatically deleted once the browser is closed. The use of cookies increases the user-friendliness of this website.
Common browsers offer the option to disable cookies in their settings. You can usually find this under “Settings → Privacy and Security.” The wording may vary slightly depending on the browser.

Linked Websites
This privacy policy does not apply to websites of other providers to which we refer via hyperlinks on our pages. When visiting those websites, their respective privacy policies apply.

Handling of Personal Data
The website operator does not independently collect or store personal data such as IP address, name, address, or telephone number unless the user voluntarily submits them for a mutual interest, for example via email or a booking form.

Handling of Contact Data
If you contact the website operator using the contact options provided, your information will be stored so it can be used to process and respond to your request. Without your consent, this data will not be shared with third parties.

Encrypted Transmission of Form Data
With every form submission (e.g., through a contact form), there is a theoretical risk that data may be read by third parties. To minimize this risk, the website operator uses encrypted transmission.

Data Processing Agreement
To ensure data is processed in compliance with data protection laws, we have concluded a Data Processing Agreement with our hosting provider.

User Rights: Information, Correction, and Deletion
Upon request, you as a user will receive free information about which personal data has been stored about you. Provided your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g., data retention laws), you have the right to correct incorrect data and to block or delete your personal data.
